Reese Palmer, LMFT

Founder/Clinical Director, Palmer Counseling and Consulting

Reese is a licensed clinical psychotherapist, Christian counselor, Keynote Speaker,  entrepreneur, family life specialist, and relationship expert. He helps children, teens, adults, couples and families with many different challenges such as grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and serious conflict.

As a former Child Welfare professional for over a decade and County Director for the Department of Social Services, Reese has direct experience serving those suffering from the heartbreaking effects of trauma, loss and grief.  Mr. Palmer considers it an honor to serve and support those living under the dark cloud of fear, childhood traumas, family and marital conflict, abuse and neglect. With genuine Christian empathy, non-judgmental interactions and evidence-based approaches Reese helps his clients alleviate distress associated with trauma pain and negative life experiences.Reese’s primary goal in therapy is to create a safe space for individuals, couples, and families to explore any issues that may be getting in the way of a more fulfilling life, career, or relationship. Simply put, he helps his clients to remove any roadblocks keeping them from realizing God’s greater plan and purpose for their lives.  He also believes it is his job to continuously inspire hope every time he meets with his clients. HOPE is critical; with HOPE and FAITH anything is possible. He encourages clients to dig deep and face difficult, sometimes very painful things within themselves about the past, their relationships and families that may be keeping them stuck in pain and despair.
