Dr. Noel Casiano

Dr. Noel Casiano obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from CCSU. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the state of Connecticut.

Dr. Casiano also obtained a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. Dr. Casiano is a Clinical Fellow, an Approved Supervisor and the Chair of National Trauma Interest Network with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Dr. Casiano is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Casiano is an Adjunct Professor with CCSU’s Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program.

Dr. Casiano is the author of “The Fatherhood Crisis” which is available on Amazon. Dr. Casiano also was featured as a Tedx Speaker which is titled “What Happened to You” and is available on YouTube. Dr. Casiano is currently completing a certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) with the Child Trauma Academy in Houston, Texas. Dr. Casiano also obtained a certification with the Brain Story Neuroscience Program at the Alberta Wellness Initiative.

His clinical areas of research and interests are in the neuroscience of attachment, addictions and trauma. Dr. Casiano works with individuals and families in his private practice offices with Casiano Clinical Services, LLC in his office locations in Hartford and Hamden, CT.
